Come and join the Aroha String Quartet for a musical journey across China and Aotearoa in the beautiful surrounds of the Hamilton Gardens. Moving image will accompany many of the pieces, adding to the magical atmosphere and highlighting this as an event you won’t want to miss.

Formed in 2004, the Aroha String Quartet is firmly established as one of New Zealand’s finest chamber music ensembles. The quartet is known for its passionate musicality, impressive technique and multicultural innovation, performing Western classical and avant-garde pieces as well as traditional Chinese folk music.
